Real Talk

Effort isn’t enough.

You’re putting in the work. Lifting on your own. Running sprints in the backyard. But the kids in front of you are still in front of you. Here’s why most young athletes plateau:

Random Workouts

Pinterest plans and TikTok drills don’t add up to a real program. Without progression, you spin your wheels and gains stall out.

Hidden Injury Risk

Bad mechanics on every rep means a tweaked hamstring or stress reaction is just a matter of time — right when the season counts.

Guessing on Game Day

If you don’t know whether your body is ready, you compete tentative. Hesitation costs scholarships, starting spots, and confidence.

Meet Your Guide

Built by a Doctor of PT.
Led by a Licensed AT.

We’ve spent careers helping athletes come back from injury and come back stronger. Advanced Athletic Performance is what we wished existed when we were younger: a training plan that actually understands how an athlete’s body works, written by people who fix athletes for a living.

We’re part of Advanced Physical Therapy — the clinic Northwest Arkansas families trust to get athletes back on the field. Now we’re training the next group so they never need us in the clinic.

Four Pillars

What you’ll build.

Every session at AAP is designed around the four traits that decide who makes the team — and who watches from the sideline.

1

Speed

First-step quickness, acceleration mechanics, top-end sprint form — the difference between getting to the ball and watching it go.

2

Strength

Real, age-appropriate strength built on safe loading patterns. Stronger athletes hit harder, jump higher, and fall down less.

3

Agility

Change direction without losing speed. Plant. Cut. Recover. The footwork that turns athletes into playmakers.

4

Durability

The hidden one. Mobility, tissue tolerance, and movement quality so you don’t miss the season you trained all year for.

A Simple Plan

Three steps. Zero guessing.

You don’t need another complicated workout app. You need a plan you actually follow — with a coach watching every rep.

What’s at Stake

The difference is the plan.

Without a real plan

  • Random workouts. Flat results. Plateaus before tryouts.
  • Nagging injuries from bad mechanics no one corrected.
  • Watching teammates pass you because they trained smarter.
  • Showing up to game day hoping — not knowing — you’re ready.

With AAP

  • A real plan from a Doctor of PT and a Licensed Athletic Trainer.
  • Speed, strength, agility, and durability built on purpose.
  • Confidence that your body is ready for what the sport demands.
  • Walking on the field knowing you’ve done the work.

Questions Parents Ask

Good questions. Straight answers.

Who is Advanced Athletic Performance for?

Athletes ages 8 and up who want to get faster, stronger, and more durable. We have age- and ability-based groups so every athlete is in the right room — from new athletes to varsity starters.

Who actually coaches the sessions?

Group classes are led by a Licensed Athletic Trainer using a program built by a Doctor of Physical Therapy. 1-on-1 sessions are run directly by the Doctor of Physical Therapy. We exist inside Advanced Physical Therapy, so injury awareness is baked into every workout.

How much does it cost?

Group Performance Training is $360 for a 12-class pack (three classes each week). A 1-on-1 Performance Session is $200. The first Discovery Class is free.

My athlete has had an injury. Is this still a fit?

Yes — in fact, our program is built for athletes returning from or prone to injury. Because we’re inside a physical therapy clinic, we can scale the work appropriately and communicate with your PT or doctor if needed.

What if we miss a class?

Class packs are flexible — missed sessions can be made up in another age-appropriate group. You don’t lose what you paid for.

Do you serve homeschool families?

Yes. We have a dedicated homeschool class slot so families with daytime availability have a great option.

Do you offer team rates?

We do. If you coach or organize a club team and want a dedicated session, call 479-373-2444 and we’ll build a quote.
